Hi zigzag,

Thanks for your comment. We're not big fans of the camouflage approach because it only masks rather than corrects the underlying problem. Functional issues related to crooked noses need to be addressed first and foremost if one hopes to have a great result. Once the nose has been straightened primarily, a bit of crushed cartilage or soft tissue can be used to conceal any residual irregularities in contour that cannot be otherwise smoothened or straightened perfectly. This approach generally ensures that your nose doesn't end up a lot wider. You probably still have some swelling but, after 4 months, it's appropriate to start asking what can be done to improve your situation. Feel free to send us some photos for an opinion.

Hello,

I have exactly the same problem. My nose was crooked (up at the bony part). Now it's still looks crooked. Looks like my surgeon tried to 'camouflage' the problem. Besides my nose looks wider than ever before. I'm 4 months post op. Revision surgery can improve my appearance? Since many-many years, the only one thing I wish is a symmetric nose, and same 3/4 views from left and right (at least in characteristic).
